Message Wish I would have had that Conzult software to start with. Would have saved a lot of time and work. For the most part, Conzult confirmed all the multimeter work that I had done.

The last work I had done by a Nissan Authorized Service Center was at miles 128,835 in June 2004. A complete tune-up that included new plugs and new air-filters and timing belt etc. Parked the car on August 3? 2004 with 132,007 miles.

When I started working on the car a few months ago, put new plugs in the car and tossed the old "Champion" spark plugs.

Cylinder pressure:
was for the most part non-existent on #'s 1 and 5. #2 reading was never the same.

I pulled an disassembled the engine.

Both heads were a mess. Neither is salvageable. Some of the exhaust valves are burned, valve chamber damage, piston damage, etc.

Pistons were in bad shape. Don't know what else to say about those. Just bad.
I doubt the crank can be saved. Journals for 2 and 5 are severely grooved.

That is it. The mechanic told me I need a new engine when I took it back in at 132,007. Guess he was right. . .

Again, thanks for the info folks.
